Great For
  • Identifying key emotions/feelings and developing personalised scales related to these.
  • Students can combine words, photos and colours related to each emotion to identify what reactions they have.
  • The thermometer can be used online in an interactive way for student’s to rate how they are feeling.
Please Consider
  • Once an expression box is added, it cannot be deleted or the colour changes, so users will need to start again if this is not required.
  • There are only a limited number of emotion icons to choose from so users may want to add their own photos.
Generalise Skills and Knowledge
  • Students might print various thermometers relating to their different emotions and share these with teachers, or keep in a book to help develop understanding of their own emotions and triggers.
  • This app would be best used in conjunction with support staff, family or therapists to discuss emotions, reactions and support the student in understanding themselves.
